Edible Type’s founder, Laura Maye, was always surrounded by fine used books because of her family business…but her favorite were always the cookbooks. Her desire to make cooking relatable to all resulted in a fun and and bouncy identity.
Using the initial mark as the base, bookmarks (instead of business cards), tshirts, and stamps for packaging were all developed, along with a site for her foodie customers to get their favorites.
